The solid waste national policy (PNRS) emphasizes the companies responsibilities by the correct environmentally destination of the technological and industrial wastes and dispensable products.

In the State of São Paulo, the law n° 13.576, approved in july/2009, institued the norms and procedures for recycling, management and final destination to electronic garbage. Among other aspects, the legislation determines that the generators of solid wastes are responsible for the adequate final destination, and that it does not provoke damages or negative impacts to the environment and to the society.
